How It Works

Getting your appliance fixed is simple. Technicians remain independent service providers.

1

Tell us what needs attention

Enter your suburb, select your appliance and describe the issue.

2

Review the connection

We help identify a suitable independent technician, subject to availability.

3

Confirm the arrangements

Availability, call-out terms and repair arrangements are confirmed before you commit.

4

Get it fixed

The independent technician attends, diagnoses the problem and advises on the repair.

If a customer pays a call-out fee through RepairLink SA and the technician does not arrive, the customer may request a refund subject to verification and our Refunds and Cancellations terms.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does technician verification work?

RepairLink SA is building a network of independent technicians and checks the identity and relevant credentials that it requests as part of its onboarding process. Submitting an application does not automatically mean acceptance or verification.

How do I request an appliance repair?

Use the Request a Repair form. Tell us what needs fixing, where you are and how to reach you. We'll look for a suitable participating technician in your area and make the connection.

Does submitting a request guarantee a technician?

No. Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee a technician or a confirmed booking. We confirm availability with you and the technician before anything is arranged.

How are call-out fees determined?

Call-out fees are set by each independent technician and can differ by service, appliance brand and area. Any call-out fee is confirmed with you directly by the technician before you commit to anything.

Which areas do you cover?

We are preparing the network for launch across South Africa. The areas shown are examples of where network-building activity may begin; they are not guaranteed coverage. We confirm availability individually.

Who performs the repair?

Repairs are carried out by independent technicians who participate in the RepairLink SA network. You deal directly with the technician, who confirms their own fees, timing and work arrangements with you.

How can technicians join the network?

Use the Join as a Technician form to register your services, experience and operating areas. Submitting an application does not automatically mean acceptance or verification; we will contact applicants about next steps.
